Red cedar is naturally a very sanitary wood. The sauna will be brought up to a high enough temperature between guests to kill bacteria in the barrels. All of Kuva's cleaning products are eco friendly and non toxic. Guests are asked to bring 2 towels to their sessions, one of them to be used to sit on inside the sauna to keep things sanitary. The change rooms and touch points will be wiped down throughout the day. The cold plunge tank is fresh Okanagan lake water and therefore only requires scrubbing every night to prevent build up of algae.
